A:	We will insure both ADIs and PDIs

Q:	What insurance can you offer my pupils?
A:	Comprehensive car insurance whilst learning to drive in a parents. relatives or friends vehicle. This can be done either on a weekly or four weekly basis and does not affect the no claims bonus of the person who owns the vehicle in the event of an accident

Q:	What benefit do I get from referring my pupils to you?
A:	You will receive £20 for each pupil that insures with Collingwood Learners and inserts your referral code on the www.collingwoodlearners.co.uk website

Q:	How can I ensure pupils insert my referral code when insuring with Collingwood Learners?
A:	All pupils insuring with Collingwood Learners are charged an additional £5 a week unless they learn to drive with an approved driving instructor – this equates to a third extra per week that they have to pay

Q:	How is my referral fee paid?
A:	It is up to you. You can request for it to be paid at your convenience or at the end of each Month – we will do the rest

Q:	Surely Collingwood Learners is encouraging people to learn to drive with parents rather than driving instructors?
A:	Not at all. Because we charge an additional £5 a week for all pupils that do not use a driving instructor we are actively encouraging all provisional licence holders to learn with an approved driving instructor.

What benefits does your driving school motor insurance have?

A:

In addition to all the standard benefits you would expect from a specialist driving instructor insurance and extremely competitive premiums Collingwood Instructors includes the following as standard : New for old cover in the event of a total loss if your vehicle is less than 6 months old Direct debit premium payments Protected no claims bonus at all levels In the event of an insured car being rendered unroadworthy as a result of an accident covered by this insurance a replacement dual control car will be made available. Replacement cars will aim to be supplied within 24 hours.

Q:	What is the referral code I need to put on the Collingwood Learners cards I give out?
A:	This is your ADI or PDI number.

Q:	Does the age of the pupils matter? Ie. Are there any age limits on the policy?
A:	No. any pupil with a valid provisional licence is covered regardless of their age

Q:	What if I teach pupils with disabilities? Do I need to refer them to you?
A:	No, any pupil with a provisional licence is covered regardless of their disability

Q:	My husband/ wife/ family member also drives my tuition vehicle, does Collingwood Instructors allow this?
A:	Yes, Collingwood Instructors allows you to teach pupils and allows any other full licence holder to drive your car with your consent (without you being present in the car)

Q:	Can you cover me if I live in Northern Ireland?
A:	Yes. Collingwood Instructors provides cover for the whole of the UK including Northern Ireland and the Channel Islands

Q:	Does the policy include breakdown assistance?
A:	Currently no, however this may become available in the future as an optional extra

Q:	Can I take my tuition vehicle abroad on holiday?
A:	Yes, the policy automatically includes a “green card” which allows you to drive your vehicle legally within Europe.

Q:	Can I teach “off road” for under 17 years olds?
A:	Yes, again this automatically included on Collingwood Instructors policies

Q:	Do I have to be insured with you in order to qualify for the £20 commissions for referring my pupils?
A:	No you don’t. However, we would ,like you to obtain a quote from our website at renewal time as we believe that our premiums are the most competitive in the market

Q:	I have private car bonus rather than tuition vehicle bonus, can I still use it?
A:	No. You can only use bonus earned on your tuition vehicle.

Q:	For some reason I am unable to register online or obtain a quote. What do I do now?
A:	Should you have any difficulties at all please call our office on 0191 270 4430 and our staff will be happy to help

Q:	My current policy gives me protected no claims bonus, is this included?
A:	Yes, Collingwood Instructors policies automatically include protected no claims bonus

Q:	I run a fleet of tuition vehicles, can I get cover for them?
A:	Yes of course, we will happily quote for fleets. Please call our office on 0191 270 4430 for further advice.

Q:	Does the car need to have dual controls to be classed as a tuition vehicle?
A:	Yes. The tuition vehicle must have dual controls.

Q:	Can other instructors and examiners drive my car?
A:	Yes, any licenced driver can drive your car with your permission

A:	This is the number that you give to students to use when they sign up www.collingwoodlearners.co.uk. Your referral code is simply your ADI/PDI  number
